The Lower World is a forum-based roleplaying community for fans of supernatural fiction, urban fantasy, and collaborative storytelling. It provides a setting where members can create original characters, develop personal storylines, and interact with other writers through ongoing roleplay campaigns. Although inspired by the world of The Secret World, the community also encourages members to explore their own characters, plots, and creative ideas.
The roleplaying section includes dedicated areas for one-on-one roleplay, character discussions, cabals, campaigns, and roleplay resources. Members can arrange private stories, participate in group plots, discuss character backgrounds, and exchange ideas about roleplaying within the Secret World universe. Character profiles and showcase features help members introduce their creations, while group tools allow writers to organize characters and coordinate particular storylines.
The community also has several creative spaces for members who enjoy writing and visual arts. The Library features journals, poetry, short stories, and writing prompts, while the Gallery welcomes digital art, traditional artwork, sculpture, crafts, and other creative projects. Additional sections include introductions, announcements, site support, suggestions, lore discussions, and The Pub for general conversations. Together, these areas make The Lower World a place for writers and roleplayers to share their work, build connections, and develop stories with other creative members.
