Forum Highlight
- NamesLot is a domain name forum and marketplace where domain investors, buyers, sellers, and web professionals discuss the domain industry, exchange knowledge, and buy or sell domain names.
NamesLot is an online community focused primarily on domain names, domain investing, and the business of buying and selling digital properties. Members can discuss domain industry news, registration and resale strategies, domain auctions, expired domains, and developments involving registrars, registries, and ICANN. The platform also promotes a 0% commission marketplace, with free domain listings for members.
The marketplace is one of the main attractions of NamesLot. It has dedicated sections for one-word and two-word English .com domains, short character domains, five-character and longer domains, domain portfolios, and websites for sale. Separate categories cover non-.com domains, domain brokerage, and wanted listings. Members can also request domain name appraisals, share available or expired domains, and discuss potential purchases. These sections make the forum useful for both experienced domain investors managing portfolios and newcomers exploring the domain aftermarket.
Beyond domain trading, NamesLot covers several areas of online business and website development. Its discussion sections include domain parking and traffic monetization, affiliate programs, marketing tips, link exchanges, directory submissions, website reviews, programming, web development, search engines, and SEO. There are also general discussion areas, a place for new members to introduce themselves, and a section for forum news and suggestions. This wider range of topics gives members room to discuss the business and technical side of building and managing websites alongside their domain-related interests.
